you know its time
that we
grow old and do some shit
i’m leaving for france so soon, and have so much to do before then.
but all i want to do is prepare my ipod for the trip.
typical.
take some time / figure it out / get away / breathe / walk / eat / sleep.
this will be good.

everyday smoothie:
blueberries, banana, peanut butter, flax-seed, almond milk, kefir, tiny spoon-ful of bonne maman jam.
You spent the first five years trying to get with the plan
And the next five years trying to be with your friends again
long days/short nights/friends/gin/tonic/impending rain/long skirts/the national
the sweet, melancholy smell of lavender,
slow days and quiet nights,
sparrows in the back-yard,
trees that grow, slow,
but strong enough to break through brick walls,
a simple, shared meal of soup and bread,
a body that aches but knows how to rest,
dear friends, back-rubs, and safe places.
peace lands, and nestles in,
a quiet bird with strong wings.
me + kyle + so excited = you should be, too.
